Buckminster Fuller Challenge Award Ceremony in Zimbabwe

Allan Savory cutting ribbon at new herder homes made possible with Buckminster Fuller Challenge Award money

The Buckminster Fuller Challenge Award has made possible the construction of new herder houses at the Africa Center for Holistic Management in Zimbabwe.  The Center helps reverse desertification through Holistic Land and Livestock Management. In 2010 Allan Savory and the Center were recipients of the Buckminster Fuller Challenge Award. This has allowed them to build proper housing for the herders, most of whom never had electricity and running water.

The video below show Allan Savory describing the new houses at their construction sites and of the house dedication ceremony.
